Sustainability

 

At Irene Stephen & Associates we strongly believe that sustainability is an important and integral part of our business model. The company ensures sustainability through empowering and investing in its human capital via formal and informal avenues.

 

Informal  avenues are offered mainly to current employees of the the company by incentivized participation  in different entrepreneurship-focused programs and initiatives, dedicated skills and development tutorials and inclusion and rotation of staff members from across the different divisions in the various projects undertaken by Irene Stephen & Associates. In so doing, we accelerate employees' versatility, acclimate them to the complex nature of the business, enhance their problem-solving and interpersonal skills, hone their communication proficiency and expand their network base.

 

Formal avenues are afforded to individuals that are pursuing formal tertiary education and training in disciplines that can contribute to the operational and service matrix of the company.

 

Irene Stephen & Associates invests in its human capital by offering partial financial assistance towards university/college fees. We mainly assist in covering application, registration, tuition, book, stationery and food fees. After successfully obtaining their qualifications, the sponsored beneficiaries are absorbed and trained for one year. Thereafter they join the vibrant Irene Stephen & Associates team. Vacation work with a stipend is also included in the scheme.

 

Given the current economic downturn, Irene Stephen & Associates is unfortunately only able to extend this opportunity to eligible Shareholders' and Employees' children.

 

Going forward, Irene Stephen & Associates intends to open this initiative to a larger pool of people. Our commitment to investing in human capital to stimulate our sustainability remains a key component of our corporate tradition.
